Tal to Tal....Best Autofrei in Europe...Sunday
All,
This Sunday is the best Auto Free day in Europe. B-9/B-42 from Koblenz to Bingen...yes both sides of the Rhine River closed for bikes, skaters, and runners...This is the UNESCO Middle Rhine with dozens of castles, rustic towns, and the famous Loreley. The is not a race or a ride that has to be this or that long...its a day to spend with friends and bikes... TwoNiner has some secret parking area so hopefully he'll let us know departure plans today but even if you go it alone this is a must do ride while stationed in Germany!!!

Re: Tal to Tal....Best Autofrei in Europe...Sunday
After speaking to some people sounds like alot of us will be heading to the TAL to TAL this Sunday. It would be awesome if we met up and convoy out. Once we get there we can ride together or do your own thing. I usually start in Rudesheim (this side of the Rhein), there is a parking area not far from the "ferry" (Pain-e's term) to cross over the river (50 euro cents or something). I then head up towards Koblenz, then cross over on another "ferry" (Pain-e's term) later and head back to Rudesheim.
It will take a little over an hour to get to Rudesheim area.
If you are interested in driving up together I will depart from the Galaxy Theater in Vogelweh at 0700 on Sunday for a 0900 start. This gives time to drive, get parking, get bike/gear ready. Just post here if you are interested in convoying up so we don't leave with out you.
Hope to see you Sunday.
