Thur Mtn Rides 29 Oct 09

Did the Thur evening mountain bike ride go away? I can ride just about any night of the week most times, so if somebody wants to continue or start something new, speak up.

Been trying to get the Wed night ride going, been posting...no takers. I'll keep posting. Someone is bound to show up someday.

Thursdays work better for me. I'll plan to join next week if you'll be out there.

I should be able to make it most weeks on either Wed or Thurs, this week was a little odd with us working with only one car...

Wed might be better for me after last night. This may also interest you Chad the Velo Doc. In Queidersbach, the towns running club meets at 1730 in the part in town center and runs a well lit 10K loop. I had my headlamp, and it isn't really needed, just some reflective clothing.

A friend of mine and I will try to make it out for the Thurs ride. Is it still going at 1730? It's been a couple years since I've made it out for one of the night mtb rides so I'm not exactly sure.

Thursday's are hit and miss right now. If someone posts it early enough in advance, there will usually be at least a few takers. I plan on riding either wed or thurs night this week depending on my work schedule.

Ok, I think I'm in for Thursday night. Plan on 6 PM from the GWoog parking lot.

Bring your lights and some warm clothes. Nettleburg just said he's in too.

Don't forget, 1800 night ride from GWoog parking lot tomorrow. If you haven't done a GWoog ride before, we meet in the parking lot just off the road from the stop light (just prior to the lake itself). This is a great loop with good single track and varying options for distance and time. Post if you can make it! This is a good opportunity to dust off the lights. There haven't been that many night rides this year, so show up and hopefully we can make a weekly occurrence of it.

I'll be there provided it's not pouring outside. I'm riding from my house so give me a couple of minutes if I am late, I'm not sure how long it's going to take me.

Is anybody riding there from the Bann/Quidersbach area? I am still debating on whether to go or not and if someone is it might be enough motivation to get my lazy butt in gear.
