Hey guys I am in need of a swimmer again for the Baumholder Tri on 28 June. Soto was going to swim but found out he is deploying and will be leaving for training this week. Your entry fee will be taken of. The swim is 600m in the Baumholder Lake(pond). If you can swim just PM with your info so I can get it in. Thank You in advance.

I must be going crazy or I am bored here in Israel. A friend and I decide to ride 20 km for a coffee and Orange juice. Road back to the room while riding back we decided to do a triathlon swim 400 meter ride 20km and run 4.2km. Started at 9am with a temp of 80 when all complete it was over 90. I can't remember that last time I went swimming or ran for that matter. Can't wait to get back and ride with the RACC. 6 Weeks to go.

Sorry I didn't make the rides last weekend...on short notice I flew to Sacramento last Saturday. Anyway, I'm here now and will be heading back this weekend. If you need bike parts etc let me know and I'll see if I can pick it up for you. There are a few shops here in the local area so I'm sure I can get it. See you all next week.

Just a quick Hello from Japan....missing the riding but enjoying the timeoff. Went to 2 bike shops in Tokyo the other day...don't be surprised if I come back with a new bike. I may be heading up to Yokohama today if the Mt Fuji trip dosn't go through...another bike shop, supposed to be three stories, we'll see. Anyway keep riding and I'll see you all next week.

I decided to see why the rear wheel of my 9.8 was flexing some much when I hammered the pedal...which was resulting in the cassestte rubbing the inside of the dropouts.....well I think the hole worn though the chainstay may have had something to do with it....third 9.8 back to the factory in five years....go Trek!!! Well it's now official, we have decided it's time to leave Germany and start a new adventure. Germany has been great to the Guth family; however, 9 years has been long enough. Sara has been selected for a new job in North Carolina and has excepted their offer:) Although we have no official departure date (we should know by Monday) we are expecting this to happen quickly. I plan on making as many rides as possible before we depart:)

How exciting was your afternoon/evening? How about getting T-boned on the A6 heading towards Ramstein by and out of control family van. Monique took the brunt of the impact, side air bags deployed, all is good, minor whiplash and bumps and bruises.
