I have been riding off and on for about 20 years. I recently bought my first custom made bike- a Storck, all graphite roadbike. My first bike was a Schwinn all steel frame. Later, I bought got an all aluminum frame Schwinn. I upgraded the components to Campy. So, actually, the components cost way more than the frame. I loved that bike!
