There are many sites out there that provide info about bikes. This is just some info for newbies and seasoned and not so seasoned riders, no I 'm not getting any royalties form Schwab's. With Christmas coming around I know many of you are looking to get new rides so hope this gives a little info to help make your decision easier.

Les, when you get to Denver go check these guys out, small shop but they have a lot of crap.

Riding is more fun when you ride with others!

There’s no better source of motivation, networking, being social, sharing knowledge, and camaraderie than your fellow riders. However, the prospect of joining a group ride for the first time can be intimidating. Worried that you might now know “the rules’ ...

I took my headset to the hardware store, found washers that fit into the headset (about the same size as ther steerer tube), washers that were larger than the headset and buncha nuts. The rubber rings came from flip-top beer bottles.

In the image, the assembly on the right goes into the lower headset cup and is fixed. The smaller washers sit ...

1. How do I get fork crown race to set correctly in the headset. It seems like it needs pounded in, but I don't want to damage anything? Is this something I need to take into a shop.
