New to RACC and New to biking

Post by romad97 on Tue Jul 07, 2009 3:19 pm

Hi all. I am brand new to biking and live in Mannheim. I am a road rider for now, since I only own a road bike, and am interested in finding people to ride with that might live in this area. I am definately a biggener so I am a little tentative to just jump into one of the long rides I see posted as I would not want to slow a group down or something. I dont really know what my riding abilitites are yet as I have not put very many miles in yet. Anyway, I just thought I would say hi, introduce myself, and see if there were any riders on here from around my area.

Welcome aboard. You just have to ride, ride, and ride some more. Most group rides I have been on are pretty good about not dropping people and usually if it is a ride where you will get dropped on you will know before hand. I am in Baumholder and always looking to ride so if your in the area drop me a PM and Ill ride.

Baumholder huh? Thats my old stomping ground. I spent five years on the rock for my first assignment. I wouldnt mind making a drive down there sometime for a ride just to check out how much has changed.
