I got there about 15 minutes late and tried to catch you guys. I either didn't ride fast enough or I went on a different loop, but I was moving!

Definitely had a good first experience with the Club. That was really cool of you guys to help me out when my bike broke. Even though we couldn't fix it, it was still pretty funny to watch us trying to kick my tire straight just to find out my axle broke. Can't wait to get back on the horse and ride with you guys again!

...if i have a bike to ride by Thursday I'll be back.

He needs an entire rear hub or wheel...the ancient one he had disolved the bearings resulting in the wheel rotating freely around the old axle locking it against the frame at several locations....he is running a 7 speed cassette which is also shoot

I've been looking everyday since the axle broke. Nothing too interesting yet.

I really just want to buy disc brakes, new wheels, and upgrade from a 7-speed to a 8 or 9 speed. I'm not sure if its possible, or even it's cost effective, but sometimes you just don't want to get rid of the bike you've had some memories in, even if it's a POS (TREK 3700/idk what year).

But I'm always looking around for a deal on a bike ...

Gilbert - I won't be at PT. Unfortunately work stuff is going to keep me from running laps around you!
