1st Golden Cycling Criterium

Eligibility:
U.S. ID-card holders assigned to Europe or TDY to Europe for
30 days or more.

On-site registration opens one hour prior to first race of the day. Awards will be presented to the first, second and third place finishers in each category; award ceremony will be held immediately after the race.

Important: If possible, please send us an email confirming your participation, we would like to have an idea of how many riders will compete so as to be able to fill out a pre-registration sheet for the German referees.

I have room for one more if Krocko1 is going waiting on his reply. I am rolling at 11am. Let me know if you want to ride along.

Forgot to mention Bikes will be in the van to stay warm and dry along with the passengers. This is important to keep the bikes happy!!!

Totally agree with, bikes always appreciate the stay warm part of the trip... I do it all the time even if our SUV has 2x racks on top.

Just to let everyone now, and as a friendly reminder; the race is still a go "RAIN or SHINE", we'll definitely find a way to fight the rain in case it's wet by the time we start tomorrow. Look forward to see a lot of you there, drive safe!!!

Want to personally thank those of you that came to support our 1st Golden Cycling Criterium here in Mannheim today; MWR and I are very pleased with the good participation and outcome of the entire event. Good course, dry roads, a very strong wind for some part of the race, and definitely a good group of enthusiastic cyclists ready to race & ride their bikes to a 100%. We look forward to see you guys soon, to be able to race together again, and to have the opportunity to organize other cycling events such as a family/cycling trip to the Alps (France, 2011 time frame); I’ll unquestionably keep everyone posted on that.

The Members of the RACC that did show got 2nd and thrid in the Open and a 1st in the masters. Thank to those that show the RACC support in attending.

Great work by the RACC riders there, with a strong showing. Sharp was untouchable. I saw him for a few pedal strokes and then he was off, no one could hold his wheel when he got after it. Great job, all that went.
