Sunday Weinstrasse

I'm planning to take the 8:58 train from Kaiserslautern Hauptbahnhof to Schweigen-Rechtenbach (start of the weinstrasse). It's about and hour and a half train ride. My plan is to follow the weinstrasse to Neustadt. The trail goes through the vineyards so I believe it's a combination of road and packed gravel. Unfortunately I have to do it on mountain bike tires since my other two bikes are out of commission! However would rather do it than not go. Long story short anyone is welcome to join me. I think it will be around 30 miles but I"m flexible about where we stop (especially if I"m on MB tires!)
