Anybody race in Stuttgart??

Just wanted to hear a race report from anyone who went down to Stuttgart on Sunday for the CX race. I spent my weekend race voucher going to a berglauf in Gimsburg. Not cycling...I know, but I need four of the six berglaufs to get scored for the series. NO I missed that race do to CUB/Boy Scout Training. The weather was great. I was saying to myself the whole day boy it sure is a nice day for a bike ride!!!!!!!!!!

yea I went down there and raced in the hobby race. Weather was outstanding and the course was pretty well put together. I managed 14/44 in my first real CX event so I was pretty happy. Would've liked to have a shirt or free food but what can you expect with a 12 euro entrance fee.

the trail race next weekend looks like a beast with a run up the Kalmit. Wish I could make it out

Ya...the weather Sunday WAS amazing. Glad to hear that you had a good race ski&run. I'm just getting into CX as well, so we'll have to hook up for an event.

The Kalmit race will probably be the toughest one of the series...I'll post a report.

I wish I would have known about the running series, I basically live at the base of Potzberg, and next weekend I will be out of town for the last race. Couple of cross races coming up fairly close, 1st couple weekends of December. I think the 11th and 12th, sat/sun, there is a chance to race back to back days while sleeping in your own bed. check out the www.rad-net.de for more info. My intentions now are to race them both, and the one towards Karlsruhe on the 5th.

Bummer jkoppa...would be cool to have some company for these uphill slogs...mabe next year. I will look at the cx races in Dec.
