OMG... I can't believe I would even post something like this... I wanna see 'em... Ones you have used and ones you have heard used...

I know some of you will put some good ones out here... Please Please Please use only excuses you have used or heard...

I go first... 3 hours prior to the ride... on behalf of Tim from his wife... "Tim will not be able to ride tonight cause he can't find his charger."

Les used the "it's gonna rain" excuse, but this was after the Fireweed 400 RAAM qualifier where he rode almost the entire 400 miles in wind and rain, so his excuse was valid. And wouldn't you freaking know it, I talk him into a ride where there was a small chance of rain...and it freaking rained on us. I knew he was pissed, but he only muttered once, "C'mon Les, it's not gonna rain". I felt like a total D-Wad.

But I'm sure if I wanted to do a night ride he could find his charger(s) and have his batteries charged!
