Cycling vacation Empty Cycling vacation

I saw the route unveiled for next years TdF.
Nothing very close but they spend quite a few days over in the Alps, kind of winding through. Looks like you could get a centrally located spot and see a bunch of racing.
Anyone every do a like "follow the tour, cycling tour"? I obviously cannot do many days in a row, but wouldn't mind going out and riding some of the route before they did, then watching them race. I stumbled upon this website: http://www.sportingtours.co.uk/ and they look like they might do some cool things that coincide with the tour.
Anyoen else interested in doing something like this? The wife and I want to do it apart of a group, and want to do more than like a day of riding, but not more than like 7. . .

19 July to 23 July is when they are in the region of the big Alps climbs. Galibier twice, Alpe d'Huez, Col d'Izoard and such.

This is still to early to talk about! For me anyways lol. But many of us do go to various stages of the tour every year! To include the Finale in Paris. I for one can only confirm that I will be in Paris for the end. However if I'm not involved in some sort of local event which are numerous during those dates I will be riding a few stages myself before the end.

I am down, I was already planning on "trying" Alpe d'Huez anyways next year. There is a few others that I know who would come as well.
