Re: Rodalben Sunday
Could you fill the RACC noob here in on what the Rodalben circuit entails? Ride type, terrain, intensity, carpooling possibility? I'm going for a dirt ride sunday one way or another, so...

Re: Rodalben Sunday
Hmmm, no dawn patrol eh? No worries, I'll have another beer tonight and sleep a little longer. I'll be at the Lidl at 0830 though to meet the rest of the crew.
Eurotrash - F trail is nice rolling singletrack, about 20 miles or so depending on how long we go. Nothing too steep or too technical. I live in Melkerei up by the castle, if you're anywhere near here I can pick you up in the morning, just let me know.

Re: Rodalben Sunday
Between 25 and 45km of rocky rooty twisty curvy rolling singletrack. Mountain bike heaven. It's a big loop that goes around Rodalben.

Jamie-
Yes, great! I live in Landstuhl, just a block behind Sander's Cafe. Give me a call at 0176-32073347. I'll be set to go at 0745, if that works for you. Thanks a lot, I'm looking forward to getting out after being cooped up for over a week. Much appreciated!

Re: Rodalben Sunday
John - No problem, I'll call you when I'm leaving my house (right around 7:45) and you can give me directions (although a block behind Sanders pretty much covers it). My bike rack is roof mount and quick release mounts to the fork, but we could lay the back seat down and stick your bike in if you have a different kind of axle. See you in the morning.

Gil - Sorry, rack only holds two bikes right now.
Erik - Lidl at 0830. A-side normal is my plan but I'll ride whatever.

Re: Rodalben Sunday
I'll see you guys down there. Need to get one more Rodalben fix before the movers pack me up.
Re: Rodalben Sunday
I'll be there after all but will probably run late and play catch up.
Since no one has made a determination, I'll assume you guys are doing it normal direction

Re: Rodalben Sunday
Thanks for a good ride today! One thing is for sure... I really should eat some damn breakfast before going out. Bonking is lame. Great trail, and a definite pleasure to meet you guys. Here's to many more.
